My name is Samantha Greenaway-Light and I am a registered BACP Counsellor. I’d like to offer thanks for taking the time to read my information and to see if I am someone who you could help you.
Like many people, I have also sought support via counselling during challenging times in my life. My experiences whilst in therapy helped me to gain more self-awareness, led to greater fulfilment and inspired me to train to become a counsellor.
I fully understand how hard the prospect of talking to someone about your problems can be. I believe that everyone is unique and that we each have our different ways of managing our problems. Counselling can offer you an opportunity to confidentially talk with someone about your troubles without being judged but supported to reach a resolution. I am able to provide you with a safe and comfortable space to discuss any issues or worries that you have.
As an active member of the BACP, I work within their Ethical Framework, ensuring clients receive the utmost safety, care and understanding.
I have previously worked with young people in numerous secondary schools as well as youth counselling settings. I have also worked with charities that offer low-cost counselling for adults.
I hold a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
